Gold Medal for Piedra and Chalá in South American Games

Byron Piedra gave the ninth gold medal for Ecuador, yesterday at the South American Games in Chile.
The athlete from Cuenca won the 10,000-meter dash with a time of 28:48:31. “It’s a big motivation for having defeated top athletes and to give this joy to my country,” he said.
