Google Starts to Show Users Their Location
Google has announced on their official Blog, that a new item is being added, or as they’ve announced it, moved to the left sidebar of the results page: the location from where you are searching for something. The location information (or where Google thinks you are) is now displayed in the left-hand side of the screen, and the good news is users can change it if it is wrong.
Google uses the location of their users to optimize and customize search results, but now they are showing users where they think they are, in order to make the users able to change this and optimize their searching experience even more. In fact, you can change your location by making just two clicks.
The new feature is being tested at the moment and will be available soon in more than 40 languages.
