Government will perform talks with the citizens on amendments to the Constitution

On January 19, in Montecristi (Manabi), the first panel discussion with the citizens will be held to analyze the draft amendments to the Constitution, the President of the Occasional Commission, Juan Carlos Cassinelli, said.

According to the plan, the socialization of the amendments will become in a permanent discussion with citizens, simultaneously working on Mondays and Fridays, in all the provinces of the country, receiving the criteria and comments from various stakeholders.

For Cassinelli, the activity will optimize time and seek the greatest quantity of dialogue and discussion around the 16 proposed amendments, because it is important not to only discuss, make known, but also listen to the opinion of Ecuadorians.
