Guayaquil celebrates International Dance Day

As part of the celebration of the International Dance Day, several dance companies and schools in Guayaquil have prepared diferents cultural spaces to display the different genres of dance.

The National Dance Institute Raymond Maugé  will present its students at 7:00pm in the Centro Cívico Theater.

At the José de la Cuadra Theatre, in Plaza Colón, next to Las Peñas, a festival will be held from 18:00 and admission is free.

The Aula Magna of the Espol will host the second function of Variedad Dancística  Festival, at 19:00. It will exhibited different genres like ballet, Arabic, hip hop, Spanish and jazz. Admission is free.

Coffee Gallery Barricaña will screen at 19:00 the film Black Swan, directed by Darren Aronofsky.

Schools like Zaida Freire Dance-studio, dancers from the UEES and Sarao Theatre, Ballet crew from the Centro de Arte Theatre and other independent artists, will act today at 20:00, in Sarao. Cover $ 5.
