Prosecution investigates more versions of Duzac’s case

From today until May 8, the prosecution would carry out the reception of versions for the preliminary investigation stage, in which enters Francisco Endara Clavijo, brother-in-law of former Central Bank president and former representative of the Management Unit Public Law (Ugedep), Pedro Delgado, who this week should give his version of the case of the loan of $ 800,000 delivered in December 2011 to Gaston Duzac.

As Endara, and five other former officials and directors of the Bank Cofiec, will also give their versions in the preliminary investigation. According to research, the loan was given without complying with legal requirements and through receiving assurances that were not of Duzac but of the Unit.

Endara, who was coordinator of the Secretariat of the Trust and who supposedly had a friendship with Gaston Duzac, and his partner, Juan Hussey, intervened on several occasions to allow the participation of Argentineans in several businesses.

Meanwhile Antonio Bunay, former Cofiec executive president, must give his version tomorrow at 09h00, and Endara must go on Friday at the same time. Today, Ivan Guerrero, former member directory of Cofiec and Rocafuerte Insurance shall file its version regarding the certificates of deposit as collateral from seized insurance companion favor of Duzac, according to the complaint set by the legislator Andres Paez (CREO).
