Guayaquil Samborondón new bridge cost $ 83 million

The new bridge linking Guayaquil and Samborondon, the contractor of the work must

fund $ 55 million of the $ 83 million it will cost.   The company that wins the tender can

get a credit with a public or private entity to cover that amount, said Jose Yunez Mayor

Samborondón.

The designs of the work were presented Thursday in Guayaquil, and includes the

overpass in the Samborondón Avenue, an access road, bridge of 780 meters on the

Daule river, step on Narcisa de Jesus Avenue and a viaduct to the av. José Maria Egas.

“The studies found that (the movement to that area) was around 20 thousand users, ” said Claudio Luque,

representative of the firm conducting the study.   In addition, a toll will be charged to users visitors,

not residents in the area of ​​La Puntilla. On the bridge there will be no toll booths, is going to be by electronic system.
