Lucio Gutierrez insists on going to primaries with other presidential candidates.

The leader of the Partido Sociedad Patriotica, Lucio Gutierrez, insists on going to an open primary with other presidential candidates to choose a single opposition candidate for next year’s elections.

“Once again I invite Guillermo Lasso and Alvaro Noboa to participate in primary elections with me, they have millions of dollars to spend, they say they are at the top as opposition candidates, why not going to primaries and let the people decide, “said Gutierrez.

The former president also said that if he loses the primaries, he would not seek a seat in the Assembly, since he belives as unworthy being in an “mutilated” institution. (MZ)
