Heavy rains will continue in the country reports the Inamhi

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (Inamhi) reported that intense, strong or moderate rainfall, such as those that fell last week, could be repeated.
“The wind circulation according to the season has a type of component that generates a rainy season,” said Carlos Naranjo, Executive Director of the Inamhi.
He added that the rainy season has been irregular due to changes in wind circulation and that since March 7 it began to spin in the opposite direction, to which is added that prior days to the rains were sunny, which contributed to the intensity of the rain.
Naranjo said that the current rains have no relation to El Niño phenomenon, because the oceanic part has not intervened so far and this is due only to wind circulation.
