It is not yet notified if demand by ICE rising was admisible

The Constitutional Court has not yet announced whether the constitutional claim against the 100% Special Consumption Tax (ICE for its Spanish acronym) for gas cookers was admissible or not.
Assemblymen of the CREO party filed the lawsuit on January 28 and continue waiting for a response, which could take a month.
The 100% ICE proposal for gas cookers was made by Assemblywoman Ximena Ponce (AP). On this, Mae Montaño said that the reason for the claim is that the Assembly could not create or modify taxes.
Section 135 of the Constitution says: “Only the President of the Republic will be able to submit a bill to create, amend or abolish taxes.”
