James Garner, Hollywood actor, departs this world forever

Born on April 7, 1928 in Norma, Oklahoma, James Scott Bumgarner, was a famous actor and television actor for more than five decades. He had a difficult childhood with his three brothers after the death of his mother. At 16 years old, and lying about his age, he enlisted in the Navy at the end of the Second World War.

The actor, best known as James Garner, started in show business as a model. He rose to fame with the two versions of Maverick and won an Oscar for “Murphys Romance” with Sally Field. It should be noted that Garner participated in the Korean War, for which he received recognition
