Colombian James Rodriguez was presented this Tuesday as the new player of Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium in front of thousands fans.

“I’m happy to be here. It’s a dream come true. I hope to give people a lot of joys and win many titles here. Hala Madrid” were the first words of the midfielder in the Royal Box of the Real Madrid Stadium.

Rodriguez, revelation player and scorer from the Brazil 2014 World Cup, had become a target for Real Madrid directors after completion of the tournament.

The transaction was completed by a closed value to 80 million euros (108 million dollars), that the Spanish capital club paid to the AS Monaco team.
