‘La Hormiga’ Paredes goes to Barcelona

Yesterday, former player of Deportivo Quito, Juan Carlos “La Hormiga” Paredes arrived to Guayaquil  to be the new reinforcement for Barcelona Sporting Club.

Paredes said that his arrival was not to meet with the leadership of Barcelona, but to attend the meeting of the Soccer  Association of Ecuador (AFE for its Spanish acronym). However, he confirmed his booking to the club for three seasons.

“La Hormiga” said that everything is already arranged with Barcelona and in his contract there is a clause that allows him to leave the team if  an international offer arises.
