The Minister for Labour Relations, Carlos Marx Carrasco, announced last Monday that in 7 days the proposal of the Organic Labour Code will pass to the Council of Legislative Administration (CAL for its Spanish acronym) for its respective observation.
Carrasco explained 28 differences with the current Labour Code, among them for example, those relating to the protection of pregnant women; increase in compensation for unfair dismissal; labor rights for persons deprived of liberty; recognition to ensure the right of all workers to receive profits, even for those who belong to companies of complementary activities, on an equitable and fair manner; monthly wages of the Thirteenth and Fourteenth.
