Layoffs in Gamatv make workers uncomfortable

Workers and former workers from Gamatv channel held a protest on the exterior of the facilities to support 20 employees of the administrative and operational area who were dismissed on January 15.

These cases would not be the only ones, because according to workers during 2013 they have separated more than 60 employees from the headquarters in  Guayaquil.

Andres C, employee of the area of Human Resources, indicated that  utilities haven’t been paid for three years, and did not specify the amounts that must be canceled to dismissed the employees. He also clarified that a bigger problem than the issue of dismissal, is the debt owed to the workers for the purchase of shares in the company.

This situation is now added to a series of problems registered by the Tv station since the seizure carried out by the government the Isaias brothers.
