President Lenin Moreno greeted the city of Guayaquil on its 482nd anniversary of foundation. The Head of State wrote on the social network Twitter: “Viva Guayaquil! To the tenacity of its people, to their creativity, to their joy and generosity. An immense hug in its 482 years of foundation.”
Moreno carries out since yesterday a busy agenda of activities in the city of Guayaquil. At Mount Sinai, he presented the ‘House for All’ mission. He delivered 1,000 land lots for low-income families which will have decent homes and Internet connection. In the afternoon, he signed an agreement for 20 million dollars for the dredging of the Guayas River.
Yesterday, he participated in the commemorative Ceremony for the 76 years of the “Naval Combat of Jambelí” and “The Naval Glories of the Navy of Ecuador.” In the afternoon, he attended the Solemn Session along with Mayor Jaime Nebot, and at night he was present at the traditional festival “We all make Guayaquil.” (I)
