The president of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro announced that the face of late President Hugo Chavez would have appeared during the excavation of a tunnel of the Metro in Caracas. The current president showed an image of the alleged image.
“Look at the image, a face. This photo was taken by the workers, the laborers. Who is in that face ? A look ( … ) It is the look of the country that is everywhere ( … ) The workers are there, working and then they see a picture on the wall and the same way it appeared, then disappeared. Chavez is everywhere,” said Maduro during a meeting with popular sectors in Caracas.
This would not be the first time that Maduro ensures the presence of Chavez after his death. On March 5, Maduro said he saw the deceased commander embodied in a “bird”, and since then, in several speeches he has imitated a “bird” whistle implying the presence of Chavez in place.
Venezuelan leader has faced criticism and has been ridiculed by the opposition, but he answered he “does not care” and called on all Venezuelans to be “birds” of the lead government.
