Maduro reiterated his magnicide accusations against Machado
The president of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro today reiterated his accusations against the opposition leader Maria Corina Machado of “magnicide” and “killer,” after she assisted on Monday before the Attorney, and said that there will be justice in the country.
“She is a magnicide, she is an assassin, but in degree of frustration is a killer, I say and I will say to the last day of my life because nobody will silence me, this oligarchy is not going to silence me,” the president said during his radio program “In contact with Maduro”.
Machado assisted for eight hours on Monday before the prosecution to testify as a “witness” for the alleged accusation, but after her interpellation, the prosecution had no elements to charge her.
“There must be justice, for peace to be real, perpetual, so that peace reigns in a country there must be justice, in Venezuela there will be justice,” said Maduro.
