Mark Zuckerberg’s facebook page was hacked
Facebook users complaining about their profile privacy is old news but even its creator Mark Zuckerberg has been affected by these programming errors. Several photos of the social network’s founder have been published in his profile without his consent.
In the pictures, Zuckerberg appears with his girlfriend Priscilla Chan while playing with his dog, in a restaurant or preparing sushi. He also appears in another photo holding a chicken by the legs.
A Facebook spokesman has confirmed that the problem has been solved temporarily “the error allowed anyone to view an unlimited number of the most recent photos uploaded by others, regardless of the privacy settings of these pictures.”
In late November, Facebook signed an agreement with privacy authorities in the U.S., Zuckerberg acknowledged in the social network blog that he had made “a lot of mistakes” regarding the privacy of users. The agreement states that Facebook privacy must get permission from members before their data is shared beyond what is provided in the terms of use and confidentiality.
