Attorney investigates Restrepo Brothers case

Prosecution experts in criminalistic continued the investigation of the remains of brothers Jaime and Andres Restrepo Arismendi, at the Cemetery “El Batan”, where last Friday, Decembre 2nd pending graves were reviewed.

Specialized personnel continued the search of the remains so that they could be analyzed and compared with DNA from Pedro Restrepo (father of the missing brothers in January of 1988).

The prosecution has the bones, clothing and some plastic bags of the Restrepo brothers so that they can be analyzed within the process that leads the prosecutor Jorge Cano.

Agents of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Judicial Police, the Public Defender‘s staff, the Ministry of Interior and the Prosecutor were present at the exhumation of a body found in the excavations in El Batan, where in 1988 three bodies were admitted as “unidentified”.
