Mexicans Doctors march against decriminalization of medical malpractice
The movement of doctors identified in networks as # YoSoy17 and allied citizens marched on Sunday to the capital socle in support of the 16 IMSS’s doctors from Guadalajara who are on trial for alleged medical malpractice and to demand that the medical act be decriminalize.
Protests occurred in many towns in different states of the country, including the capital, and were summoned under the slogan # yosoy17, a movement created days after the issuance of the arrest warrant against 16 professionals.
The Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) and the governing body of federal government hospitals showed in a statement their “unconditional support” for the doctors involved.
Persons identified as infiltrators and agitators were arrested by Civil DF Protection.
