Miley Cyrus young companion is a fugitive from justice

“I accept this award on behalf of the 1.6 million young people living on the street or who have fled their homes in the United States, who die of hunger, are lost and afraid for their lives,” (…..) I know because I am one of them,” said Jesse Helt, 22, upon receiving the award of the singer during the MTV awards ceremony last Sunday.

Helt was arrested in 2010 for crimes associated with violation of private property, he was sentenced to 30 days in jail and probation but pleaded not guilty. In 2011, after violating his probation, a warrant for his arrest was issued. The actress met him during a visit to the Hollywood indigent care center “The house of my friend.” The fugitive of law is being sought by the authorities.
