Ministries will receive 38.5% of the Budget for 2015

Ecuador currently has 27 ministries in total. These 27 entities will receive 38.5% of the budget for 2015, which amounts to $ 36 317 million.

The five ministries that will receive more budget in 2015 are: Education, Health, Non-Renewable Natural Resources, Electricity and Defense.

Of the 27 ministries, five will capture the 84.3%. The State Ministries that spend the most in salaries are the Ministry of Education and Health, for their doctors and teachers staff.

The Ministry of Electricity provides strong investments for the eight hydroelectric plants that are in final stages of construction and expect to be operational by 2016.

Eighteen of the 27 ministries (67%) contemplate also personnel expenses considered investments. Of these, Education presents an item of USD 140.2 million, the Coordinating Ministry of Knowledge and Talent etsablishes USD 9.7 million, Industries sets an amount of USD 7 million, while Agriculture establishes USD 5.5 million.
