A 13-year-old boy, who had disappeared four years ago, has been found by the police hidden behind a a false wall in his father’s house in Georgia, according to local media.
The Clayton County police initially came to the house but its owners denied that the child was found there. Hours later, the police received another call from the boy’s mother, who claimed that his son was in this house.
The boy, whose name was not been made public, was able to send text messages with information about his whereabouts to his mother, who brought it to the attention of the police.
The boy’s father, his current wife and three other young men have been arrested for abuse, obstruction of justice and kidnapping.
The Police have indicated to the Atlanta media that the mother had reported the disappearance of her son four years ago but only to social services and not the police, due to ignorance.
