Moles of Mexico advised to make earthquake drills
During a lecture at the Faculty of Law of the University of Guayaquil, Israel Lagunas, a firefighter and rescuer of the Mexican group, stressed the need for an analysis of the main risks faced by the country.
“Driss must be made, once or twice a year. A Dirll for what? We will have to analyze the disturbing effects that can affect us. What does affect me more? An earthquake? ¿Volcanism? And before that we must anticipate what I will decide, and before that I need training.”
He also stressed the importance of creating standards to reduce the risks. “As we move through the training part, we can manage certain rules that will regulate not only such an area, we can extend them to national legislation. It is necessary that Ecuador starts working on that,” recommended Lagunas in his presentation before law students.
