Moreno talks about paranoia referring to Correa’s message on Twitter
Ecuadornews:
The phrase that marked the binational meeting between the presidents and cabinets of Ecuador and Peru was that of the Ecuadorian leader Lenin Moreno: “In Ecuador, we do not have presidents imprisoned, but we do not lose hope.”
On October 21, Moreno recalled in his Twitter account the conversation with his counterpart Pedro Pablo Kuczynski “about the suspicion of ending up in prison like the Peruvian presidents.” And then he added the “paranoia” definition.
This is in response to the comments of former President Rafael Correa yesterday when he wrote: “Ephialtes of Quito boasting of his smallness. Now, do you understand what happened to the vice president?” Ephialtes is part of Greek mythology, a being with grotesque physical traits. He was a traitor to the Spartans because he showed the Persians a secret way to surprise and defeat his own people, in exchange for a reward and respect. (I)
