MSP allocates $ 19.8 million dollars for call center service
The Ministry of Public Health (MSP for its Spanish acronym) started the recruitment process for the call center service intended to scheduleappointments. The reference budget is USD 19 ‘ 797,448.79 and the only invited to participate as a bidder is the National Telecommunications Corporation (CNT) .
Compared with the recruitment method of the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security (IESS) call center, which hold a contest of electronic auctionon May 16, where thecontractor will be chosen among 20 companies .
MSP hosted a special scheme for negotiation between public entities or subsidiaries for direct recruitment. Last May 29, Minister Carina Vance signed the resolution to start the pre-contractual process, whose digital documentation was uploaded to the Public Procurement website.
This process is called : “Contracting service of contact center for scheduling and monitoring of appointments, management of preventive and educational campaigns, assistance in health promotion programs, and managing disagreements, that contributes to improve care and optimizeuser´s accessibility to services that the Ministry of Public Health provides. “
“For reasons of convenience and technical and economic viability, the MSP invited CNT to submit its offer,” said the formal invitation signed by Minister Vance, on May 29.
The contract for the service provision would be awarded on June 6, according to the schedule that rules the process.
