Nadia Mejia, among the five finalists for Miss USA

The daughter of Ecuadorian rapper Gerardo Mejia ranked among the five finalists for the Miss USA. Nadia Grace Mejia is the representative of California and was the last to be called to the stage.

After being named among the 10 finalists, Mejia was approached by a journalist in the backstage. Miss California said she feels blessed to be in the top 10 and thanked her fans for chosing her. “Thank you all, I can not thank you enough. Long live Ecuador!,” she exclaimed.
