The Mayor of Guayaquil, Jaime Nebot, went this morning to the Palace of Justice, where he gave his testimony in the case Las Dolores.
At his arrival, 8:30, Nebot greeted his supporters, who arrived from 06:00 and chanted “Guayaquil with Nebot” on the outside.
The Mayor testified via videoconference and after two hours of staying in the Court, he came out to ask his supporters to withdraw from the exterior of the judicial entity.
“I will declare as a witness at 08h30 on Monday morning, October 20 of 2014, at the building of the Judiciary function 9 de Octubre and Quito,” said the Mayor through his twitter account on October 16. “Now I was legally notified,” he said on that occasion.
