New Reactivations of Tungurahua Volcano

Tungurahua Volcano

Tungurahua Volcano seismic activity was registered this morning again.

At about 05:00 am (local time) there were moderate sized explosions causing a roar of about 5 minutes duration.

It also reports slight drop below and fall of gravel grain size of rice in Baños city. At the time from these areas there are reports of black ash black falling.

The alert in the province of Tungurahua is kept in ‘Yellow’.
