Number of Spanish residents quadruples in Ecuador

The number of Spanish that come to Ecuador motivated by labor opportunities and the possibility to grow professionally, has quadrupled over the last four years.
From 7524 residents (2010) to 31 876 (2014) has been the increase. According to the National Statistics Institute of Spain (INE for its Spanish acronym), Ecuador is currently the biggest recipient of Spanish migrants over England, France, Germany, Venezuela and Argentina.
The 2010 Population Census of INEC says that most residents are in Pichincha, followed by Guayas and Loja.
The 2010 Census showed that the activities in which the Spanish residents were employed in Ecuador were: trade, education, services, manufacturing industry, scientific and technical work.
