Oil price will reach $ 23.49, according to Petroamazonas

The State oil Petroamazonas assured that the total cost of production of its oil, projected on average for the entire 2015 will reach $ 23.49 per barrel, a value that it considered competitive and sustainable.
This value includes operating costs and investment, Petroamazonas specified in a statement in which it assured that the figure will “maintain the sustainability of the activity” despite the adverse environment in oil export prices in the international markets.
The Petroamazonas general manager, Oswaldo Madrid, stressed that the average production cost estimated for this year responds to a strategy that has focused investments in oil projects that “offer greater revenues to the state.”
The information of the Ecuadorian state company was released on Monday, when the price of intermediate Texas oil (WTI), which serves as a reference for the price of Ecuadorian crude, rose 8.80% and ended at $ 49.20 a barrel, its highest level since last July 21.
