Operating captures two tons of drugs at sea
About two tons of drugs in the international market valued at $ 39’600.000, he seized the Guard Command of the Navy, in coordination with the National Police and the DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration, for its acronym in English).
Information provided by the National Directorate of Aquatic Spaces (Dirnea) said that the seizure occurred during the operation called ‘Sea Hunter’, executed between 10 and 11 March in aquatic areas of the island region.
The first catch was taken on Thursday, 230 nautical miles from the island of San Cristobal, where the coastguard ‘Isla San Salvador’ began a speedboat chase go-fast type. Realizing the maritime control, the boat proceeded to throw lumps and flee into international waters.
The second arrest occurred Friday after an aero maritime exploration that detected a boat at a distance of approximately 200 miles north of San Cristobal.
