Parents´s protests at the beginning of the school year

With protests at the districts and the streets, the school year began in the coast region. Some parents claimed dissatisfied the school assigned to their children, others were waiting for a response to their stablishment´s change request or protested since their children were not registered.
In the city, around 10:30, about 100 parents burned tires and closed the right lane of the Avenue Francisco de Orellana (North of the city), near Los Vergeles, for a period of 45 minutes. While 200 others made a row to enter the district headquarters.
In the midst of the shouts from the enraged parents: `We want registrations!´, one of them took his son’s arm and laid next to him in the central lane of the Avenue to stop traffic. Subsequently, the claims were neutralized by the action of the national police.
In the surroundings of district 8, Mount Sinai, on the way to Daule at kilometer 8.5, about 2,500 people were standing in line.
In District 4, Portete, in the Southwest, happened the same of the Duran district, there were people standing in lines and claiming. Before the multiple requirements, the Ministry of Education decided yesterday that attention in the districts depends now on the last digit of the ID card of the parents.
Thus, today will attention will be given to numbers 1 and 2; tomorrow, 3 and 4; on Thursday 5 and 6; on Friday, 7 and 8; on Saturday, 9 and 0.
