Patiño anticipates Correa’s enrollment to reelection

Foreign Minister Ricardo Patiño, anticipated through his Twitter account, the eventual official registration of President Rafael Correa to re-election in the February 2013 Elections.

Patiño, who is also a member of the ruling Movement, Alianza PAIS, said the registration would take place next November 12.

Correa, on his behalf, has insisted that he will only accept the nomination if so its decided by the foundations of his political group.

Political groups approved by the National Electoral Council (CNE for its Spanish acronym) shall register presidential and National Assembly candidates on November 15. (MZ)
