PayPal Prepares its own Payment System for Real Stores

PayPal, the online payment system of eBay, is preparing its own alternative to the payment of purchases in physical stores in the United States. This technology does not require the use of NFC in smartphones.

PayPal has released a video that shows how their system works. It is based on reading the bar codes of products. You can see the video above.

According to the company, traders do not need to install new terminals for the payment through PayPal that would not rule out also the launch of its own credit card. Clients will type their pin and phone number in the reading machines in establishments.
