Penelope Cruz Will Have a Star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame

Spanish actress Penelope Cruz, known for her roles in numerous films from the also Spanish director Pedro Almodovar, will have her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The star, which is number 2,436, will be unveiled on Friday. 

After winning an Academy Award for best supporting actress for her performance in Woody Allen’s “Vicky,Cristina, Barcelona”, Cruz becomes the first Spanish actress to win a commemorative plaque in front of “El Capitan Theatre”.
