Platforms for the exploitation of natural gas are installed open sea

The goal of the State Corporation Petroamazonas to double the production of natural gas, with the drilling of new additional wells to the 6, 7, 8, 11 and 12 existent in full operation in the Amistad field, in “El Oro” maritime platform, is on the right track.

Two of the three light platforms for the drilling of new wells came to the country from Houston, Texas (USA) at the end of February.

The installation began in early March and will conclude in the middle of this month. The third is expected to arrive in the coming days.
