Ecuador and Mexico assume cooperation agreements
Rafael Correa and Enrique Peña Nieto, presidents of Ecuador and Mexico, held a meeting in which the two countries resolved to deepen mutual cooperation agreements.
Education, science, technology, trade and migration, as well as the exchange of information and experience in combating transnational organized crime and drug trafficking, were the main themes of these agreements.
In addition, the technical cooperation in the social area, the creation of a cultural center, a library and a publishing house of the Economic Culture Fund of Mexico in Quito; and two educational agreements between Senescyt, Yachay and Mexican educational institutions.
At the next meeting to be held between the chancellors, matters as human mobility issues and exchange of information to prevent the entry of criminals or members of the drug cartels to both countries will be treated , Correa said.
