Police flattens UNE in Quito and Guayaquil
In the middle of a wrangle, the National Police raided yesterday and took possession of the premises of the National Union of Educators (UNE) in Quito, an entity that is in a process of dissolution. So they did at the headquarters of Guayaquil.
The operation in the capital began about 05:00, when police officers entered the building, located in the streets and Ascázubi October 9, at the request of the prosecutor and authorized by a judge.
From the second floor, before 08:30, the president of the UNE in Pichincha, Elvis Moreira, said computers, documents, records and reports related to the institutional life were taken.
Israel Gualsaqui, manager of Pichincha´s Police said they had a search warrant to verify documentation and computer data that reposed in the building.
