Police officer involved in 30-S was arrested

Since last night, second corporal of the police force, Johnny C., 37, was arrested and taken into custody, when he was identified as a participant in the police riot of September 30, 2010.

The officer will be placed under preliminary investigation of attempted murder against President of the Republic, a crime that is also known as assassination attempt.

Miguel Jurado, Pichincha Provincial Prosecutor explains that the arrested agent have been identified in the video that is being transmitted by several TV channels, offering up to $ 50,000 reward.
