Pope Francis left the nunciature to give his blessing to Quito
Posted On 06 Jul 2015
Breaking all protocol, Pope Francis left the nunciature, where he will stay until July 8, to address church members that were still awaiting for a pronouncement of the pontiff.
It was at 19h53 on Sunday, that the pope made a brief call to the people of Quito to let rest people of the surrounding neighborhoods and invited them to pray together a Hail Mary. In the end, he gave them his blessing and said goodbye to those gathered in the exteriors of the Nunciature.
