This Friday, Pope Francis presided over the viacrucis at the Coliseum in Rome and at the end of the religious ceremony, he denounced acts of cruelty that are carried out in the world of today.
Thousands of believers attended the Palatine Hill, in front of the Flavian Amphitheatre, where the pontiff epitomized the Calvary of Christ.
Bergoglio denounced acts of cruelty, corruption, people´s trafficking, lack of freedom of expression and the indifference of people towards this.
“In the cruelty of your Passion, Lord, we see the cruelty of our actions and all the abandoned by their family, by society. In your wounded body we see those disfigured by our indifference,” was the litany of the Pope.
