Prefecture of Guayas request that Rafael Correa decides on limit conflict

The Prefecture of Guayas will apply to the institutional solution to solve the border dispute with Manabi by the Manga del Cura community, said the Prefect of Guayas Jimmy Jairala.

“With Manabi there are no possibilities of a settlement, definitely,” he said. “There’s nothing to do,” he added.

The Prefecture of Guayas will opt for such mechanism provided by the Boundary Determination Act, which implies to submit to the President Rafael Correa documents that argue the belonging of the conflict area.

The deadline established by law expires on April 15.
