Posted On 17 Mar 2015
President Rafael Correa presided on March 16 a working lunch with representatives of the indigenous movement in the Yellow room in Carondelet Palace.
Antonio Vargas, one of the leaders who attended the event, said it was about a working lunch to focus on public policy on three pillars: political, economic and social.
According to Delia Caguana, indigenous leader of Chimborazo, it would also be about a proposal submitted by the movement a few weeks ago in Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, which includes points on the construction of the Plurinational State, as proposed in the Constitution.
