Posted On 10 Mar 2015
Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa questioned the decision of the US government to declare an extraordinary threat to Venezuela and impose economic sanctions.
On his Twitter account, Correa said the decision of Barack Obama “declaring Venezuela unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security of the United States and establishing the state of national emergency to deal with that threat must be hoax”.
He said that “reminds us of the darkest hours of our America, when we received invasions and dictatorships imposed by imperialism”.
