Principals require that public universities to be audited
According to the results of evaluations and categorizations of 2009 and 2013, self-financed private universities have upgraded compared to state education, which has been maintained, and in many cases decreased.
The results by type of institution, show that 13 of the 18 self-financed private universities upgraded, while 12 of the 25 public lowered their level. Among the individual -financed receiving state money-, half have fallen.
This is why most private universities question the use that public educational institutions give to state resources . Therefore, they should be accountable for its refusal management. Several principals from private universities urges an audit of the monies received by managers of these public entities
In 2013, the Senescyt increased $346 million, with the total university budget exceeded 1,656 million.
