Relatives of the deceased minors call for Justice

Roberto Rodríguez and Arturo Cevallos, fathers of the  five children dead in the tragedy in the citadel La Floresta II, and former cohabitants of Karen Flores, have joined to demand justice.

Karen Flores is still fighting for her life and remains unconscious at the intensive care unit, in the Luis Vernaza hospital.

Yesterday morning, his father, Luis Flores, along with other close relatives attended a meeting with the Mayor of Guayaquil, Jaime Nebot, who offered to help them.

Arturo Cevallos Salinas, father of two of the children, said that he will stay for 30 more days in the country, and that during that time he will submit an  accusation against Gabriel Murillo, current partner of Karen Flores, and principal suspect of causing the fire at the house where the children died.

The death of these five children, is the result of domestic violence against women in Ecuador, and has caused consternation within the citizenship, as well as the case of young Karina de el Pozo in Quito, who was killed the morning of February 20, at the ravine of Llano Chico, North of Quito, allegedly by his own party friends and for which the prosecution continues the investigations in which they confirmed that traces of blood found in the stone that would have been used to commit the murder,  belonged to her.
