Revisions to INEN standards were presented
Between Monday and yesterday eight regulations of the Ecuadorian Standardization Institute (INEN) and six new ones passed through technical reviews prior to be published in the Official Registry.
Reviews for regulations such as meat and meat products, milk and dairy products, ceramic tiles, gray and nodular iron foundries and diluents are include in this documentation.
While for meats a second revision was made to the Technical Regulations, for others it is the first.
In order for these items to enter the country; it is necessary that some of these sectors obtain the necessary certificates of recognition of the INEN standards provided in Resolution 116 of the Comex.
So far, 81 companies have applied for the INEN certificates of recognition through the Single Window system, informed the National Customs Service (Senae) in a statement.
