Ricardo Patiño, Gabriela Rivadeneira and Doris Soliz were suspended for six months
Ecuadornews:
The Ethics Commission of the Alianza PAIS (AP) Party met on the night of November 13 in Santo Domingo and made an important announcement about the militants of the movement.
Given the position expressed by Ricardo Patiño, Gabriela Rivadeneira, and Doris Soliz, who tried to remove Lenin Moreno from his position as the AP leader, the Commission took action on the matter.
Three members of the Ethics Committee installed the session on Monday. Mónica Guevara, José Tenesaca and Mary Verduga, current governor of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, assessed the behavior of the militants of the movement and decreed six months of suspension for nine of them. Among the suspended members, the names of Ricardo Patiño, Gabriela Rivadeneira and Doris Soliz stand out.
Yesterday, in the afternoon, the National Electoral Council indicated that according to the ruling of the Criminal Guarantees Court of Pichincha, no other AP board should be registered, since it is necessary a National Convention of that political movement to accept the registration of new authorities.
