Posted On 18 Oct 2011
Fifteen months ago, the media published a tape of a man who sounded like Mel Gibson making threats against his ex-girlfriend. This was added to the anti-Semitic rant that Gibson did to police during a 2006 DUI arrest.
Last Friday Mel Gibson presented the American Cinematheque Award to his friend Robert Downey Jr. afterwards the actor said the audience, “Unless you are without sin – and if you are, you are in the wrong industry – you should forgive him and let him work.”
The evening’s highlight was when Gibson appeared to present the award. (AV)
